You Left
I can't breathe
My mouth opens and closes
Desperately I gasp for air
My lungs are on fire
Tears blind me
I grope in the darkness
I lose my balance
I reach out for your hand
But my fingers close
over nothing
You left me
I'm falling
And no one is here to save me
From hitting the cold ground
I welcome the impact
if it will stop the pain
