You Lose Poem by Hidden Red

You Lose

You use muscles
and I use words
You fling punches
while I raise my voice
You stand defeated
across my chest
And I stand victorious
around your head
Guess why,
you’re humiliated
while I’m only red
Understand why,
you’re insides curl
in agonizing scrutiny
while my outsides bruise
And why simply stated,
I win,
and you lose.
You use muscles
and I use words
You fling punches
while I raise my voice
You stand defeated
across my chest
And I stand victorious
around your head
Guess why,
you’re humiliated
while I’m only red
Understand why,
you’re insides curl
in agonizing scrutiny
while my outsides bruise
And why simply stated,
I win,
and you lose.
