Help me! What shall I do?
My best friend just said, ' I LOVE YOU''.
My heart sunk to my feet as I told him in disspare
''I never though this would happen, I didnt think you cared''.
I felt so bad to say it, never thought it would end like this
but I cannot be with you or even think of giving you a kiss.
I have told him my life and things I shouldnt have said
even some personal things which I have done that turn my cheeks red
I would do anything for you, even my back I would bend
but I have to let you know, you are only my friend.

That was the worst day of my life
it filled my week with grief and strife.
I lost my friend do to my own selfish ways
why couldnt I have shown him compassion for a couple of days?
I could have said ''yes, I love you too''
It would be no problem being with you.

I had my own life, with my wonderful guy
but I lost my best friend and I just wanted to cry.
I have to get over it and I know I will
but there was this space in my heart that my friend would fill.
I will miss him and everything he did for me
the way he saw life different than others would see.
I may never find a friend as happy as him
but just because this happened I will not let my life go dim.
