I must confess…….
If you were to ever leave me one less……….
Then my heart will surely digress……..
And I would be forced to suppress……..
All that’s within my chest……….

I can’t deny……
Not even if I tried……….
If ever you were to tell me those words “Good Bye”……..
Despite the crystal pearls that may form in my eyes……
My response would never comply……..

I’m compelled to say…….
If any day……..
You were to ever take the time, to walk away……
There would be no delay……..
In me asking that you stay……….

But if you really wanted to go……….
I guess you would show………..
And there and then I would truly know…….
Even though…….
What I have for you may still grow………

What am I to do……?
When I’m stuck in the night’s dew…..
If ever I were to hear those words from you…….
They would be equally wrong and true……..
But my heart would be fragmented anew………


Could this be a regret……?
I’m not willing to accept………
Nor would I forget…….
But whatever it may be, here’s my hearts interject……….
If I tried, I’m just not ready to stop loving you yet……!
