When you look in the mirror who do you see?
The very best that God has designed you to be?
You are unique in your own special kind of way
And it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks or says.
There is a reason why you are the way you are;
Stop trying to please people who don’t really care.
If only you could see yourself and look deep inside
Close your eyes and just let your mind wander wide
You’d see there’s so much you are that others are not
You’re gifted with so much that others haven’t got.

You’re beautiful but you don’t know
Can’t you see that you are so lovely?
You’re simply wonderful and it truly shows
Why would you think of yourself so lowly?

Imitation limits you; so never try to be someone else.
You’ve got to realize you are better in a million ways.
The greatest gift you owe you is to love yourself first
Never ever let anyone talk you down; you are the best
There’s a reason why no two persons are exactly the same
Stop hating yourself; you don’t have to bear the blame
If only you could hear how people wish they were you
Take a deep breath and jolt yourself out of the blues
You’d see there’s so much you are that others are not
You’re blessed with so much that others haven’t got
