You're Friend Poem by Seth Yuhi Musinga

You're Friend

Rating: 4.5

You're Friend

There emanates a point in your life
when you recognize who actually matters,
who never did, and who always will.
Who`s words gave you a curious satisfaction,
as when a coin, tested, rings true gold.
Someone who come to your rescue and brightened
so many of your routine days.
Someone who never turned his back on you
or told you that you wasn't good enough
or let you down.

Someone who can perceive the reality
and agony in you even when you are bamboozling everyone else.
Someone who talk to you,
with a voice soft and sweet as a tune that one knows.
Who gives you love that sings and has wings as a bird.
Someone who crack you up with laughter,
And touch your heart with their kindness.
Someone who went through so much pain and who still have time
for you.

Someone who discerns the track in your soul
and can croon it back to you when you have forgotten the lyrics.
Someone who is fanciful
and extravagant as a caliph's dream.
Who`s friendship is pure as the naked heavens.
Someone who can take your hand and comfort your tears,
hold you and soothe your fears.
Someone who is as precious as the, diamond which sinked,
when the titanic sanked.

Someone who makes you giggle,
even when you think you'll never smile again.
Someone who fills your life up
like a cup with bubbling and sparkling liquor.
Someone you tell your secrets deep,
and trust them in your heart you'll keep.
Someone to hold your hand,
or a hug to say I care.
