You Say Poem by nyna bankard

You Say

You say that I can't be trusted.
You say that I'm unstable.
You say that my morals are rusted.
You say that I'm unable
To give you peace of mind.
You say I'm living blind.

You say that I am selfish.
You say that I am spiteful.
You say that I embellish.
You say I'm not insightful
Of your consideration.
You say I lack determination.

I say show me something good.
I say show me something new.
I say tell me that I can't
And I'll show you what I can do.
I say you're living scared
And you take it out on me.
So what you say don't matter,
Cause now I'm living free.
