You Say You Love Me (2)

Believe The One who reigns on high
Who lives though once was dead
Arise when self; has learned to die
And serve the hungry bread

Go tell the world of what you see
The facts your ears have heard
Reveal The Truth set others free
According to my Word

Obey! Regardless pain or strife
Obey and all endure
I am The Way The Truth & Life
The Key to Heaven’s Door

My burden child is never grave
My yoke is light to bare
Go forth; more sinful souls to save
Eternal life to share

Despite what those still lost decree
What those who mock may say
If you truly say you love me
You’ll trust me and obey

For this is what I want of you
It’s all your God commands
What I myself have had to do
Beneath tormenting hands

I came to live to serve and love
My Father to obey
That you my child would rise above
To live with me one day

So love me child and love me true
Obey your God’s command
Do what your Lord expects of you
Before The Promised Land…….
