You'Ve Changed Me Poem by Emily Reid

You'Ve Changed Me

The birds outside my window are crowing.
The pain inside of me is growing.
I don’t think I can take it anymore.
I am walking right out that front door.

You hurt me in a lot of ways.
The pain has been here for more than a few days.
I’ve cried the tears.
I’ve felt the pain.
More than once, I’ve gone insane

I am screaming out to the world, Can you hear me?
Please can you look, I want you to see.
I’m in so much pain, can’t you tell?
More than once, I’ve gone through hell.

Nothing will stop you or get in your way.
You plan on hurting me every day.
You don’t care who’s heart you break.
You don’t care who’s love you take.

You just like to push and shove.
Until you talk away all my love
You hate me and I know it’s true.
And there is nothing, not anything, I can do.
