You Will Not Break Me Poem by Strydar Enox

You Will Not Break Me

Broken arms and legs; the bones take time to heal.
Break a heart and it can take years.
Physicals mirrors emotional; that's a lie life believes
Overshadowing each other for temporary reprieve.
Take the knife that lay; before I placed it in your hand.
Cut your value from my heart, emotions be damned.
A mental trip, a moral rip and the darkness leaks through.
This poem is done and with it is gone my desire to write again.
No
More pain
No
More tears
The escapists will not win.
