You looked so very lonely
So I came to say hello
It has been one year today since
You had to let me go.
You may not even know this
But I’m with you now and then
I’m here to keep you company
I know you need a friend.
When it’s your time to bid adieu
I’ll be waiting tried and true
With tail wagging
