Your love is sour, like a bitter lemon
It leaves a taste in my mouth, unpleasant and unwelcome
But still I can't seem to let go,
Like a magnet, your love pulls me in, aglow
Your love is sour, like a tart lime
It stings my heart, like a sharp thyme
But even as I try to resist,
Your love persists, through every list
Your love is sour, like a sour grape
It leaves me feeling empty, with no escape
But still I keep going back,
To the sweetness and the pain, like a track
Your love is sour, like a pungent vinegar
It burns my soul, like a raging fire
But I can't seem to quench its thirst,
Your love consumes me, like a cursed
Your love is sour, like a tangy tamarind
It twists and turns, like a restless wind
But I am caught in its storm,
Unable to break free, in any form
Your love is sour, like a bitter gourd
It leaves a bitter aftertaste, one I can't afford
But I keep coming back for more,
Blinded by the love that I adore
Your love is sour, like a sharp vinegar
It cuts through my heart, like a sharp dagger
But even in its hurtful sting,
I keep going back, like a puppet on a string
Your love is sour, but yet I crave
For its unique flavor, one I can't deprave
Despite its sourness, it's still so sweet
A love that I can't escape, nor defeat
Your love is sour, but still I stay
Like a moth to a flame, I can't turn away
For in its bitterness, there's something divine
A love that's rare, one of a kind
Your love is sour, but I can't resist
Even as it tears me apart, I persist
For in the midst of its sourness, I find
A love so pure, so one of a kind
Your love is sour, but I'll take it all
The good and the bad, the rise and the fall
For in its sourness, I've found my home
In your love, I'll forever roam.
