cared to be around the people who hurt me,
Terrified to be around my own family.
Everything I thought they would be for me,
Just turned against me.

Pretending to be alright,
I guess they do not care at all.
Could they not see right through me?
Could they not see what is happening to me?

You said that I do not love you,
You to me that I am a pain to you.
You said that I am mentally retarded.
You said you wanted my friend as your daughter.
What am I suppose to do?

You promised me that I would be safe,
But your promises are a lie,
Because I am not safe when I am with you.
