Your Return Poem by Danielle Mari Nidea

Your Return

All I wish for is for you to return
And bring back the warmth of these fires that burn,
These fires lit up by the sparks of the past
And with patience and will was ignited at last.

The rain may have taken the heat from my flame
And I humbly admit that I am to blame.
But my hearth is still filled with these fires that burn,
Fueling hope that your love may return.
