Your Star And Waterlily Poem by The Immortal Resilience

Your Star And Waterlily

I'm the sky you see and she's the earth you need.
I'm the stars you wish by and she's the air you breathe.
She's the waterlily of your life and i'm a mere shadow of your past.

Although nothing has changed, i've become one of those you've cast.
Though it hurts, and though i cry, nothing seems to change and i begin to wonder why.
Because there is love of which we cannot rid, our hearts find each other enriched with the things we did.

Meet me under that stars, a common qoute.
Your sweeter than chocolate, the other wrote.
A far off place we escape to, see me in a week or two?

So many different times, so many to view.
No one saw the light, the strength you gave.
You make you star shine, and your waterlily rave.

Fiery and burning for ages, your star grants your wishes.
Graceful and elegant, your waterlily brings you life.
Your shooting star reflects on everything you see.
Yet your waterlily shapes everything you do.

Both are yours, and you are theirs.
Whether you like it or not, you are shared.
Own two hearts, while your's split in two.
The good kind of split, one for me, and one for her.

Your star shines for you.
You waterlily blooms for you.
Forever.
