Your Were The First Poem by Jessica Henning

Your Were The First

Rating: 5.0

How do I live with out you
When my heart was wrapped in yours
Tell me what to do
Rather than down one more coors

Well ill tell you what I think
If you can listen to my tears
My face is turning pink
As I swallow all my fears

You were the first to hold my hand
That didn’t brake my wrist
You listened to every demand
With out getting pissed

You kissed my lips with ease
You took my heart with care
And now im on my knees
Because your leaving me’s a dare

You were the first to share my love
The first to grasp my hips
But with a push and shove
I lost my pride and grips

Your were the first to brush my hair
With your gentle loving touch
Now you say you never cared
That I was loving you too much

You got down on your knee
And asked for my hand in marriage
You said you wanted us to be
Even a baby carriage

But your heart went off the road
And you looked at a different moon
Your faith in me bestowed
Now spread across the room

You threw me down a well
And left me there to rot
You made me live in hell
As if its what you were taught

So goodbye for now and always
Although your heart is on your sleave
Ill pass you in the hallways
Remember I said id never leave! ...
