Ywam - Poem by Joy Davis

So much pain and too much sorrow
something special to give and not to borrow

A little of this and a little of that
being rejected makes my heart fall flat

Stepping down this lonely street
nothing alive only the sound of my heart beat

Offered and accepting one man’s gift
of something he never had makes my heart lift

Seeing their and pain and feeling their heartache
opening my eyes and so causing my wake

So much to give but not enough heart
God’s love is something we need to spread apart
