Zephyr Poem by James Hunter

Zephyr

Rating: 5.0

Riding in the thunders storms
You can wear ear muffs if you wish
It's like a roller coaster ride
And you control the switch
Lighting bolts on your command
Streaking cross the sky
Scaring all the folks below
With these brilliant bolts of light
The thunder snaps and cracks and pops
As you sit back and dare to dream
Suddenly you're falling from the sky
And all you do is scream
You land atop another cloud
This time you hold on tight
Crack the whip and snort the rain
Holding on with all your might
Totally you're in control
Until the clouds relax and fade
Then you search across the skies
For another storm to raid
