Zero Words Poem by Paolo Mikel Moro

Zero Words

It could have been better if it weren't this way
We could have been smilin' everyday
but pain do takes a chance as death does
now we're like the golden sky becoming dusk

But I know its never been too late, I believe
let our hearts avoid the hate that could deceive
A note of hope that content with embracing wishes
A bliss of yesterday is all what I misses

Yet, we took the picture of our single regret
As thought of sadness we could never forget
But as we walk in this cycle of mystery
We capture different faces in our memory

It could be the friends that we all met
flattering words yet held to death
We could stay in fantasy like we used to be
As I connect the bridge of friendship in reality
