Fair Winds

Life is here, now, and will be tomorrow,
Limitless in space and time,
Strong and Fragile,
It's there and the next second it's not.

Today a root is dead.
I loved it,
It was one of the strongest.
That's what they call "new beginnings"…
Enthusiastic termination,
Hope for the future,
Still does not really help to digest the sadness.

Today you're gone.
It happened two months ago,
Without a sound, without pain
It's hard to find my balance again.

Thank you for your gifts, patience and love.
And even if I know I'll never see you again,
Deep down I know you're still here,
I can hear your voice.

It's hard to believe you left
But it's time,
And as we say home, I must wish you "Bon vent! "
