The Leaf

A leaf so green
Waltzing in breeze
Yellow light
Penetrating through it
Varying shades of green…
Few drops like music
Beautifully scatter
A new rainbow in the eyes…
Shadows on face
And shallow colours…
Passing seasons,
Some fresh memories
And few weakening bonds
With the flow…
A moment of stillness
A broken bond
A yellow leaf
On its way to the
Final abode

There it lies
No blood, no flesh
The fallen leaf
