Demanding and commanding him to write
And always keeping him awake throughout
The long dark interminable nights

I want to write poems without words
Because words are only puffs of wind
Just vibrating waves carried thru air
Only small noises joined together
...

You are my life's apostrophe
The part that has always been missing in me
You're right where the hyphen used to be-
You are my life's apostrophe
...

My soul burns in the darkness
Just like the bluish heart
Of a flickering flame
Attempting in vain
...

Even the greatest of pain
One day will be
Nothing but a memory
