A loaded chamber, a promise whispered low,
Protection's shield, against an unseen foe.
But who's the villain in this loaded scene?
The shadowed figure, or the one who's preening?

A primal urge, a darkness in the core,
Compels us to tear down, forevermore.
We build grand monuments, then watch them fall,
A morbid dance, consuming all.

In the shadows of our past, demons lurk,
Trauma's grip, a burden we must bear.
Life's lessons, an enigma, no guidebook,
We wrestle with our demons in despair.
