Sean Seguin Poems

the fine line of something new
something brilliant cannot be with out dues
you are to me what I am to you
nothing more then a mere thought subdued
...

as rockets fire
near and far
I wonder – puzzled- in my quarrel
...

The one for me and the one for you
Do not stand far from subdued
The only wish and wish of fate
Is to be the one knelt by your estate

“a Waiting World”

the fine line of something new
something brilliant cannot be with out dues
you are to me what I am to you
nothing more then a mere thought subdued

you ask of me - things that I bring- and when in turn I ask of you
you come empty handed and a look of gloom
for these things - that I now speak- are forever in darkest ebb
bringing me depression of thoughts
that only you wavier in your taunts

I ask myself - what can I do?
the answer seems mindless and overdue
to end this melancholy of our lives
and to pursue our endless dreams

the dreams that were dreamt before we met
the dreams that I will one day live to regret
your life is fine -with or without
to bring me along is a foul hardship, a battle lost and unkept

you ask me to tell you of every step
only to realize that this one side wish is never kept

I sit here now and I ponder
as things between us begin to wonder
an important date that you must keep
should never involve these feeling so deep

I am nothing short of mad,
Wondrous
And feeling sad
for the last time I fall weak
And here again
and at your feet
the question raises like curtains of old
to live without is something bold

you have chosen to be the way you are
not considering the man from far
your - subconscious - wish of comfort
has reveled in my soul
only to bring an answer so poor

I wish you the best with what you have
I wish you the best with what you had
I wish you the best with your journey forward

To reconcile will be undoubtly so
it is too late, you are now my foe
I only wish you the best of all
to be what you can and will with all
the only words to you I can speak
are 'go now dear, and do not look back
for the world will not wait'
