Peace

When chaos threatens to destroy us,

We pray for peace.

When war rages around us,

We pray for peace.

The balance on earth depends on peace

The balance of our mind depends on peace.

At times when we feel confused,

In the bustling city streets,

We look above, and pray to the Lord

For a few moments of peace.

But today's generation is so busy,

And always in so much hurry,

That they have forgotten the value of peace.

They are devoid of the peace in mind

They lack peace in their soul

They don't know what peace is!

When our parents scold us,

We pray that it may get over soon,

That's when we ask for peace.

But If we spend two minutes of silence everyday,
We'll surely live in peace.
