Where are you?
the face i couldn't take my eyes off
those piercing eyes that saw through my soul
the tenderness of your touch
...

all my neurons
all the narratives it set
all the biases i had
all of it vanished
...

i found myself thinking about you
about everything we were
everything we could have been
and everything in between
...

I was unknown to the light she brought
till it dimmed and faded away
Now in the shadows i walk,
where once your light had paved my way
