Here's A Little Piece Of Me

Here's a little piece of me
I give you without no hesitation
bury and water me like a seed
yes just a little piece of me
have you watched me grow
and mature into a tree
most likely no
you lost that piece of me
okay so here is another piece of me
in place of the one you lost
please plant me and show me love
yes this little piece of me
have you seen me get big and strong
again I say no
you lost that piece of me too
will you ever let me grow

please care for this piece of me
cause I'm running out don't you know
again I beg please plant this piece
so I can grow and give you peace
but again you lost that piece of me
and now I have no more to give
I tried to give you all of me
but you take so much and never give
now I sit her with nothing left
just pieces of me lost
when you were supposed
to love and cherish them
but the pieces were never enough
for you to love and bury them
some can say you
you never allowed my love to grow
so I could give you what you needed
instead you tossed them out like trash
forever they have no cost
my pieces were priceless
but now I'm forever lost
