I am a serving Firefighter (39 years) in London.I have written quite a few poems concentrating on WW2, we all these days complain so much about the trials and tribulations we go through but forget how our freedom of speech and actions were afforded us by past generations. I hope through my poems to at least ask people to think on our dues.
This poem is dedicated to all the members of the RAF of WW2(my father included) for their sacrifice so we could live and complain as we do.
