Thomas Lawrence Biography

I used to write often as a young teen. I'd bicycle down to the great south bay, work my way down between the bulkhead and the cattails, and enter my secret spot by the water. Sometimes I would write until it got too dark to see. I never saved anything very long, nor ever, ever showed it to anyone. Not so much because i was shy, which i was, or because i didn't think it was any good, which i didn't, but because it would have changed it, like a secret being whispered from ear to ear. And because once a poem or a story is read by others it belongs to them as well, and these were mine. I paid a price for my secrets. I often still do. So, this is my attempt to change all that. Late but hopefully not too late. And I put them out in a big way, on the internet for anyone to see; hiding in plain sight. I'll not tell anyone they are there of course, they'll have to find me by accident.
