VaGótha Kuroibara Poems

From blackest night to deepest sea
I long beyond of what's in me.
From calming sea to lightest tower—
From grains of sand to latest hour.
...

An anchored boat—a tinkered past.
A rocky shore—a light of last.
A fisher's hook from down below.
A glass of casing—I bestow.

The Mermaid

From blackest night to deepest sea
I long beyond of what's in me.
From calming sea to lightest tower—
From grains of sand to latest hour.

It's my safeguard; it's my home.
It's my story where I roam.
A tale of tails to echo afar.
My evening sky—my morning star.

The ocean! It holds my kind.
The sea! Retro-rewind.
The rocky river—the grind.
The smallest pond—confined.

Stuck on land as am I.
In a tank, and I wonder, 'Why? '
Caught by a fisherman—I can't go back.
I will die because of Jack.

A mermaid of scales—singing sea.
My sorrow unheard—begging plea.

As hope is gone and all was lost,
A clever one as I...will escape no matter the cost.
