Yuzuki Hara Poems

In a long time, I have not seen a sunrise.
In a long time, I have not had a friend.
Even still, I refuse to socialize.
Even still, I refuse to befriend.
...

An ancient triangle, a golden light, resting upon a hill.
Such a beautiful legend, but then the dream fades. I lean on my window sill.
'If only, if only.' I think to myself. 'If only the stories were real.'
But because this life continues around me, I simply turn on my heel.

Yuzuki Hara Biography

You may call me Yuzuki. I love books and poetry. But I really suck at it. The poems I have posted are lame, I know. It's the first ones I've done. I know I have more to learn about poetry in the future and I hope to become good at it. Also, in my poem(or sad excuse for one) 'Dreaming of a Legend', I was referring to the video game 'Legend of Zelda'. I read a fanfiction of that game that was WONDERFUL. It was the best story I ever read and the sequel to it is still going! I loved it so much that I often wished it was real. Because I'm a curious person, and I love adventure and experience. But I knew that I couldn't waist my life dreaming about it.: P So what did I do? Write a lame poem. If you can give me any advise about poetry, I'd love to hear it. But please be nice. ^_^)

The Best Poem Of Yuzuki Hara

The Loner

In a long time, I have not seen a sunrise.
In a long time, I have not had a friend.
Even still, I refuse to socialize.
Even still, I refuse to befriend.

Sometimes, I think I should be less shy,
but to that thought, I say goodbye.
I try to get along.
Even still, something goes wrong.

So I go back to my cave,
as if I was a slave.
And I'll continue to dream,
hoping that one day, I'll have self esteem.
