It's a big family in a hut of the slums,
It's too cold and they sleep on a mat,
A single blanket for the whole family,
He pulls blanket and covers his cat.
The shivering rats then shut their eyes,
They are awaken, how can sleep in the cold,
Their father unsatisfied with a family of six,
Careless is addict otherwise too bold.
Morning saw the youngest frozen and cold,
Unworried is addict no shame no fears,
Balanced will be family a matter of few months,
Puts child in the grave no regrets no tears.
poignant and tearful...............a drunkard irresponsible father can be the death of not only a family but a cause of all the evils in a society.......................
Such scenes are not uncommon in a slum! Many are exposed to severe cold and are being frozen in the chilly weather! Here the drunkard is so callous and is least bothered about the well being of his family or children! A poignant write!
its pathetic...mostly related to under developed countries....nice
