East Sakura (ft Wabi Sabi)

The East watching the new rising sun
The awakening moment for a very first day
To end the long cold days
By the most welcomed ray
For now a new beginning will start
A bless for every little thing
A new day in promising spring

The mist dissolved in the morning light
East with the sun and sound by the birds
We will witnessing many at this time
Clouds now opened a space for the blue sky
The awaiting moment has come
For many hearts to bloom again

There, look over the skyline
The birds announcing the return of 'Haru'
The old trees stand in two lines along the river
As if they watching over the new shine delight
Radiated heat strikes on the frozen surfaces
Slowly melting snow walking by windy hush
Refreshing trees with spirit wash
Flowing on the branches
Dripping the warm tears
Dropped...Fall down and leave

Drop (a sound)
Another one falls
Pristine pearl dives in a river
A miracle splash waves in circles
Liquid mirror reflects the pink shadows
Of the tree branches after few days past
O Sakura has came back at the same place
At the same season, where the spring is here
Each year, the same scenery repeats.
Only different stories everyone makes
But the lesson still same for us to pick

A short time of this quiet season visit
Small petals winged sakura over the field
Bearable without fears, remind the lands
With a same sakura song they all sing loud
'We found pain, we bleed but everybody hurts'
'But there will be a time where the door will be opened'
'To heal and to gain, from snow to green again'
'Take the chance or we never see it comes again'
'Even in a small twig after snow i shall return'

Watching them flying from this bridge
On my hand, one of them falling
Instantly immerse the rare feeling
As if with my soul it was talking
'Even there's always winter to freeze heart
Or the present of autumn to fall hopes
Nothing to afraid about this hardness
That is a nature of life we cant avoid
Hold it tight, believe for one time
We will find a way out and win
If we know how to take the chances'

I walked away and smile
Thinking for the meaning
Of what i have learned
A lesson In a new day
taught by sakura

Poet's Notes about The Poem

This is a collaboration work 'Wabi Sabi' and me, talking about taking chances in life for a new beginning, to find a hope by using nature as our inspiration. Sakura is not an ordinary flower, I always believe that every single thing has something for us to learn. The title, East sakura was chosen to appreciate my co writer (from Japan) and at same time we all know From the east a new day will born, a sun will rise...so East Sakura carry all this meaning :) Have a good time everyone!

    Nice description............. Just one question:
in the beginning you describe the spring in the east then you say:
Each year, the same scenery repeats.
    Only different stories everyone makes
But the lesson still same for us to pick
so do you mean every time we learn new lessons? ? (in other words you mean by spring renewal of lives with new lessons.... etc? ?)
I love your description especially the passage talking about rain, when reading this poem you kind of imagine all the scenery......... Nice poem i love it good luck with your co-writer Wabi Sabi (i like his poems too)

Indeed a nice write and above all your belief for change is also nice. This poem is full of optimism. There, look over the skyline

There is good flow in your writing.. Great job my soul. (Report) Reply

Hi my little soul, a beautiful poem from you and Wabi, we all must take chances in life.
some will work some won't. But if we don't take the chance we will never know.
