Oh End! Where are you?
And if you let me know,
You are there,
I shall ask what after that?
And where is your beginning?
And if you let me know,
I started there,
I shall ask what before that?
Oh Time! Oh space!
It’s you, who forced me to believe,
Someone was here and there,
Someone is here and there,
Someone will be here and there,
Otherwise,
I would have said,
There is no God.
A well thought belief is more firm than an inherited belief........................10
Oh Time! Oh space! It's you, who forced me to believe, Someone was here and there, Someone is here and there, Someone will be here and there...great poetic expression.
We come across these questions whenever we contemplate about the beginning and end of the universe. The answers are provided by philosophy or science or our faith or all of them complementing each other. The poem brings out the intellectual versatility of the man. Great poem. Thanks, Sir.
Enjoyed this thought provoking poem. Some questions never answered yet the mind never stops asking and wondering. Thanks for sharing Akhtarji Ji.
A very profound poem which embodies all the philosophies of the world. Actually, there is neither end nor beginning. The truth is without a beyond and, therefore, an inside. And that is Truth whatever names we call It by.
Very thought provoking poem, Akhtar. There are places in our universe where the concepts like beginning, end, time and space do not exist. I am sure God finds a way to make his presence felt even in what may seem such extremes to us mortals. And it is my firm belief that there are other universes beyond ours and God finds a way to leave his mark everywhere. Just my opinion and beliefs. Your wonderful poetry made me think of all this. A wonderful poem that makes me soul search and think of the Almighty. Thank you sir.

I would like to translate this poem
All of us are eager to know when comes the end and what next! We all believe that there is something ahead, far above all our expectations and we march hopeful towards that destination! This is not your poem.... this is everyone's poem!
