Beautiful Bollywood songs
He went on playing
In an early morning hours.
Old melodies were the best
his flute played over and again
None appreciated him ever
As it was routine
For the flute seller.
I just stood listening to him
When ever he went passing by.
On one fine evening
He stood in crowded place
As usual playing his flute.
I too got tempted to buy one.
I tried playing there itself.
I said my flute not playing
Like yours
So would you change with
Another one like yours.
He said laughingly
You have to keep your
Fingers on and off the holes in flute
I tried my best
But just one long sound heard
and few people
looked and smiled at me
I felt bit embarrassed and
Told him shyly I will practice it
At home and took the flute.
Well it was a wonderful experiment with flute!

A nice write on a real experience.I also bought flute thinking that it will create the same melodious tune if I play.Oh! all my tricks went wrong.Every time, I tried only sound that came out was- - -phoo, phoo, phoooooo!
Geetha believe it or not, same incident took place with me. At karachi and a wealy market is organized on every Sunday at an open place. A man sells flutes there. He plays various tunes on his flue. One Sunday when he was playing a Bollywood famous song Dooro na rahe koi aaj itne qareeb ao...Main tumme sama jaoon tum mujhmein sama jao I was mesmerized and purchased a flute but I could not learn playing it and I gave it to my grand son. A lovely write.
A musician makes it look easy. Like a magician brings it out of no where. Their performances come out of learning and practice. At least, the instrument that plays music is in hands. Beautiful poem. Thank you.
Very truly said. A lump of clay in the potter's hand can be turned in a beautiful terracotta whereas in the hands of a layman, it shall soil it.
I believe in freedom and I think people should always try new things! Loved your style and mostly the content! :)
