Forty Pleasant Quatrains[7 To 9] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Forty Pleasant Quatrains[7 To 9]

7.It is good to spend for charity as far as possible.
It is enchanting to pay heed to the useful words
of the morally strong. It is emollient for a learned one
to keep around those bereft of talents.

8.Better it is for the seers to forget not the holy verses.
It is easy for a man loving his wife and children to rule
over the army. It is elating for a son to tread in good path
though his unrestrained father had trodden in evil ways.

9.It will be ecstatic to see, those who sought our help, live wealthy.
It is lovely to see the shining moon in the wide expanse of the sky.
It is congenial to be faultless and live with some ideals,
showing mercy and love to all the people.
