God Poem by Akhtar Jawad

God

Rating: 5.0

Follow me old man,
Follow me if you can,
The black children,
The white children,
The brown children,
Yes, all children,
Have come out today,
In a rally to protest,
The terror they face,
The horror they face,
In the name of God,
They are looking for the God,
Should they go to a mosque?
Should they go to a church?
Should they go to a temple?
Where they should go?
Where is God?
I don't know,
You don't know,
We don't know,
But in the name of God,
We kill our children!
And we don't know,
In the children we kill,
Is God only God!

God resides within innocent hearts! When we mercilessly take away the life of young ones, in a way we are destroying the temple of God! Great write!
