Humility Poem by chandra thiagarajan

Humility

Rating: 5.0

One who is proud
And is with ascension endowed
Himself, he over-weighs
And amplifies his ego to raise.

One who embraces all
And evinces interest tall
Becomes an integral part of all
And humility is in call.

When the fruits raw
In the branches of the tree draw
To ripe, mature and mellow
The branches low down and bow.

When perceives the humble mind
That God is intricately entwined
In every life, high or low-
The wisdom makes him to kneel and bow
Before the Almighty God!

Words of wisdom. So nice comparison. When we are rich with knowledge, we bow like the branches full of ripe-fruits.Amazing one.

Hi Chanda Thiagarajan i loved the poem, reminded me of an old saying in Gujarati. you are endowed with pearls of wisdom which is known. But I still cannot understand the generosity of your soul to be so kind towards the infinite. i introspect to understand byt my semi functional mind makes me rebel and ask every one has to have a KPI, and no one is exempted. brilliant write your end.
