I'M Not Looking Poem by John Carter Brown

I'M Not Looking

Rating: 5.0

I'm not bothered by
How many points I get,
I'm not looking for
Hearts or stars or things
As the case may be,
These mean very little to me;
I simply would like you
To read my rhymes,
Say Hi sometimes,
Offer advice if you feel like it,
Good or indifferent, I don't mind.
I'm really not looking for
Hearts or stars or things,
Just the joy that sharing poems brings.

I think you speak for a lot of us. That's the most satisfying part of writing - finding out what others think of our words. Good job, John.
