I Remember

I remember the day,
when they turned our rainbow to grey.

Sailing kites in the stormy winds of may.
oh dear friend remember how we used to play
Before they turned our rainbow to grey.

I remember the day,
when the they carried and buried our dreams.

Racing in the dusty road,
spoke less bicycle rims.
Oh dear friend remember the screams,
when they carried and buried our dreams.

I remember the day, when they came and
tamed our imagination.

Floating lantern thoughts to the
skies without limitation.
Oh dear friend remember how we
believed with no hesitation.

Before they came and tamed our imagination.
