Dreaming in a moon lit night
Being forsaken alone,
The smiling moon was winking at me
Through the window's glass panes.
Found some cherubs and pixies,
To be calling me with giggles.
They took me on their furry wings
And glided to an amazing place
They landed me in a garden
With so many flowers and a fountain,
Those flowers were with amazing scent-
Being the symbol of love and peace.
Million stars were blinking upon,
With the shimmering moon in between.
A mild breeze was blowing over
In that serene holy place.
I picked up some flowers there
Resembling blessing of love,
Being scattered all around
In that land of divine peace.
I was embracing and kissing them -
Being thrilled with a pristine peace.
Cherubs were flying around
Merrily on their wings.....
They whispered in my ears and said
' my friend, now we'll fly back'.
Suddenly I woke up
And was rubbing my dreaming eyes
The giggles of those cherubs
Were still sounding in my ears.
White clouds were passing by
in the morning blue sky
Looking towards them in the dawn
I was still wandering in that trance! !

So..... it was a lovely dream! Borne on the wings of cherubs, you landed in a beautiful garden! You were so lost in the mesmerizing beauty of the place with myriad flowers! Unfortunately dawn came and robbed you off that dream! A well crafted poem, Amitava!
Lovely dream to be cherished again and again. Beautiful imagery of nature. A new sun rise is welcoming you..... Loved the way you presented it.
Good morning poet Amitava. That was an interesting poem, I enjoyed, Loyd
Amitava, beautiful and heart touching imagery, light, airy and happy. Finding a divine and pristine peace is quite a feat these days, yet you have portrayed it wonderfully. Awakening to the giggles of cherubs is alluring and magically delightful, still being in a trance must have been enlightening. Love this poem, Amitava. Thank you, RoseAnn
