It was
Just another day
Or so I thought
But madness
Had got me
I didn't even know
I was walking
Through the city
Minding my own
When I saw a man
Hurt someone
I should have known
I should have turned away
I should have gone another way
But my mind
Wouldn't let me
It was too far away
I'm chasing
I'm chasing
I'm gaining
But I'm losing
I'm fighting
But I'm not moving
I'm chasing
My dreams away
I catch him
I beat him
I take the blame for him
Then I pay
For what he done
Twenty years of pain
Justice never done
good for you dave, justice is a great concept to be taken in to a poem, and the most remarkable thing is you can alter the direction of the poem with good control to a sudden dramatic locations, reall you could be the most if you attempt the most, you're good as robert deniro said to billy crystall, you are good by ahmed khaled
Jamboree poem in the sensation...very deep dark secrets within....very well chosen verses
Such a wonderful poem with nice imagery. Keep on the good work.
exceptional write...deeply felt and at somepoint everyday experienced...injustice
Wonderful write, I really like the way you laid it out....and the story kept me interest to the very last word...thx...hugs n blessings
This is my problem with humanity. There is no justice anymore. No one to proclaim liberty for the captives...
Sad poem but true, sometimes we suffer the penalty for the wrong of others and its when justice wear mask of denial! Profound write my friend!
