Peaceful And Contented Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Peaceful And Contented

Looking out at the tops of trees, their branches, limbs
and leaves gently acqiescing to the wind as it pushes
them around in the air.

Tickling this brain and mind, bringing a smile to this
mere poet's face, feeling peaceful and contented while
sitting here writing, listening to coded rhythms.

Throughout this morning in a doctor's office having a
weekly I.V., feeling better already, energy having
been replenished once again.

Loving how it stimulates mind and intellect so well,
thanking God for Doc, so grateful for having met him
all those years ago.
