Quiet Speaks Out. Poem by Fay Slimm

Quiet Speaks Out.

Rating: 5.0

Today, surrounded by shimmering sea,
Silence here slices portions of still air,
Wafts them towards lawn and they comfort me,
Quietly waiting on terracing chair.
Out here peaceful morning breaks and daily
Refreshes blades of greenest grass, then edges
Down slopes toward the tidal beach and bravely,
Suffuses itself into sea, thus embeds
Tranquility fast into late-spring day.
It seems quiet intends to speak anyway!
