Sinning in the human life
Is like taking apple in the garden of Eve.
Alluring us so strong enough
That mostly, we all give in.
Throughout our human life
Sins are like toppings on the cake,
With love, lust, hunger and desire
Our meanness plays with sins.
often we repent after committing sins
And ask Almighty for a forgiveness.
Just thereafter we fall again -
In the clutch of the devilish sin.
This ugly devil plays with us
Hanging a carrot in it’s hand,
Repeatedly coming close to us
It hallucinates and muddles us with sin.
Such an enemy is this sin -
Always inhibits from doing good things,
Keeps us way behind with a mayhem
From the land of Paradise with love and peace.
Very Beautiful poem with great meaning in it. Very true said, sin often tempts one to taste the forbidden apple, when sin is committed repentance follows. But there are many, they never show any signs of repentance. They think they can compensate in some other way, but never a word of sorry come from their voice. Which is really hurtful....When a repentance is shown really one may forgive. Thanks for this beautiful poem. Loved reading it.

I would like to translate this poem
Temptations are so totally alluring, we all give in to them at times during our lives, yet most of us repent. When it keeps happening some people forget to repent and never are sorry for anything. That is where the evil finds it's way into lives. Becoming ashamed and not doing good things, causes a loss of peace within. It is a travesty for sure. Great poem, Amitava. You have profound insight, I enjoy reading your poetry. RoseAnn
