S.J.T.T.K - Poem by Jo Marie Takes the Knife

My life seems so long
now that you're gone
I never imagined my world without you
I feel so lost & don't know what to do
I can no longer hear your laugh
all I can feel is a cold draft
I can no longer feel your warm embrace
feels like I'm in a losing race
I can no longer hear your voice
I just wish you didn't have to make that choice
My tears seem endless
My pain ever so relentless
You weren't just my cousin but also my friend
Even though your gone out friendship has no end
You may be gone
but your memory will live on
When it is my turn to die
I hope to see you on the other side
