Soul Centered Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Soul Centered

Rhythms of life are centered within my soul, where they
continue to fill me with coded messages of ingenuity
and purpose.

Cohesively being laid upon screens of intellect where
they can be taken and enlightened by imagination.

Beautiful and calm, so serene, as it takes me down many
illuminated pathways into a land of another time, where
I will become someone no one has ever known.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I found this poem listed with others by PoemHunter as NEW POEMS and immediately clicked it. It is a poem of self-transformation accomplished through the combined powers of intellect and imagination, (How wonderful to see these two faculties working on a common goal, rather than at cross-purposes!) The last stanza must take place in the landscape of the soul as the speaker walks resolutely toward whatever positive destiny has been prepared for her.
