Take A Break. Poem by Brady Scott

Take A Break.

Rating: 3.8

The smell of summer hangs in the air
Carried along by the breeze.
The sky is blue and the weather is fair
As we head for the coasts and seas.

Excited children, caravans and kites
Funfairs and frolics for all.
Some head to the airport to catch their flights
To America, Spain, or Nepal.

Everyone loves to get away
Even if it's not very far.
For a weekend or so, or maybe a day
By train, by bus or by car.

Some people head to the countryside
To camp or to fish in the lakes
They will come from far and wide
For their summer or Easter breaks.

So if you have a holiday wherever it may be
In the south of France or Ingoldmells
There'll be lots to do and see.
