The Second Cold War Poem by Akhtar Jawad

The Second Cold War

Rating: 5.0

Donald Trump has told Russia and Syria
to "get ready" for a missile attack on the Assad regime,
saying the bombs will be "nice and new and smart".
Can bombs be nice and smart?
Why we forget,
Metyl Isocyanide,
the germs,
and the radio activity
pollutes the air,
and wind may change its direction at any time.
A war with unconventional weapons
may be turned into an epidemic
and it may be reflected to its initiator.
Dear World!
I am sorry to let you know CW II has started.
CW I disintegrated Soviet Union
what CW II is going to do?
I don't know
but I know every dawn is bringing destruction closer
leaving behind a sad dusk
and sleepless nights

Can bombs be nice and smart? ..........an intelligent question that moves the poem which is touchingly inscribed on war.

A great political write that echoes a very important message to already war torn world. The Chief Executive of a country must not utter words unbecoming of the seat he is into, otherwise he will lose the confidence and trust of the people who vested him such power. A brilliant satire on one of the most popular political figures in the world.10

My president does not represent me. He is a buffoon. I apologize for my country.
