Time Traveling Mind

Shape shifting images
of a time traveling mind
flying through the sky
in the blink of an eye

Not knowing
the year or the time
as I travel through
the centuries of my mind

One day I will find
peace of mind

The two challenging concepts, the time and the human mind is perceived in a spectacular way. Nice poem. (Report) Reply

I enjoy your work, I am able to grasp the meaning of words as they flow from
your mind. So many of the writers can't keep things simple and their poems
are not always understandable to me, you don't have that problem. (Report) Reply

    Wonderful write,
    flying through the sky
in the blink of an eye

We travel miles in our thoughts, thinking of our lives, wondering what it would be in future.. how was it in past.. And now we are back in the present wondering whether the peace for which our heart quenches... when and where will we find it? ? I loved this beautiful poem :) (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
